• Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary or its equivalent Examination in 2010 and on wards can apply for Admission into First Year Course 2013-14.
• Candidate must pass in English with full marks minimum 100.
• Separate Application forms must be submitted for separate Combination Codes.
• Admission in Honours courses will be made through counseling process, Minimum marks required for being included in the Merit List for counseling will be determined by the Academic Committee.
• Application Eligibility for candidates will be based on :
  
  • Honours Courses :
    • a minimum mark obtained in best 4 subjects
    • a minimum mark in subject or related subject
  • General courses :
    • Minimum marks in best 4.
• Aggregate Marks obtained in best 4 is to be calculated by adding marks in Top 4 subjects in order of marks, excluding marks in Environment.
• SC / ST candidates may apply for Honours Courses with minimum 40% marks in Aggretate (Best 4) or 40% marks in subject/related subject provided all other clause are satisfied. Such candidates will have to submit Attested photocopy of original SC/ST certificates in their own names of the time of admission. Reservation of seats will be as per Govt. order.
• For Food and Nutrition Honours, candidates must pass in chemistry (obtain min. 24 marks in Theory portion and min. 08 marks in practical portion).
• Last date for submission of Forms, Merit List for counseling for General and Honours course and the Dates for Admission will be notified through College Notice Board and also online.
• Any claim for admission will be cancelled if the Date/Tims specified for 'Taking Admission' expires. Admission will go on till seats are available.
• For Admission, candidates must come to the college personally along with Guardian, Bring all Original Documents and submit the followings :
  • The application form (Previously filled-up and downloaded) Signature of candidate and Guardian of the bottom of Form are to be done at the time of Admission.
  • Attested Xerox Copy of H.S. or equivalent Mark-Sheet.
  • Attested Xerox Copy of Madhyamik or equivalent Admit card.
  • Stamp size / Passport size Colour photo of candidate.
  • Attested Xerox Copy of SC-ST certificate (if applicable)
• In First Year, all students are required to study Two Compulsory. Language subjects of 50 marks each :
  • English
  • Bengali or Hindi
• Candidates, must choose subject combination very carefully. Change of subject will be difficult. Also Faulty forms will be rejected.
• • When candidate has studied the Subject previously, qualifying marks (45%) in the subject is must.
  • When candidate has not studied the 'Subject', 45% marks in Related subject in must.

• Choose the stream and the subject code.
• Fill up and submit the online application form.
• Collect the print out of the application form along with its challans ( Page 1 - Application Form, Page 2 - Challans)
• Submit the downloaded application form and challans alongwith Rs 100/-(rupees hundred only) (Application fee) to the college office within specefied time and date,otherwise the application will be rejected.
• Date of online application of the Merit List for counscelling : 25th June 2013
